Kara_wOke-Pieces

Alan Hilario will present his concert and video installation Kara_wOke-pieces (2025), created especially for the space, in the historic Schuhhaussaal in November 2025. Hilario addresses the role of art and music (karaoke) in society as political work (‘woke’). In the 70-minute work, he will address the silence and quiet of a society in the face of the brutal reality of the ever-present global reality.
